The proposed Bel Aire Town Centre is envisioned as a village-style town center serving the northern portion of Sedgwick County.

The Town Centre will be a highly efficient, pedestrian-oriented, mixed community containing office and retail space along with apartment homes and single family homes.

The Town Centre project will feature angled and parallel parking, attractive open spaces, and a traditional street grid system with residential and mixed-use buildings oriented toward the streets and parking located behind the buildings.  Extensive social programs and events will help establish the project as the community's center.

A collaborative design and development team will incorporate appealing design elements of older downtowns within a format that would be successful for today's retailers, residents, and office workers.  The team anticipates solving the sometimes conflicting issues of residential and commercial accessibility through innovative design.

The magnitude of the Town Centre development, including the retail, office and residential components, will have a significant impact on the tax base of the City of Bel Aire.
